At last, MPs extracted an apology over the Post Office scandal

More than 10 million viewers tuned in to watch the finale of the compelling ITV drama ‘Mr Bates vs The Post Office’ earlier this month. Viewing figures would have been considerably lower – perhaps in the dozens – for yesterday’s Commons’ Business and Trade Committee. But the public flogging of the Post Office and Fujitsu was no less riveting.
