Venezuela will vote on territory that belongs to recently oil-rich Guyana

Venezuela is holding a referendum on Sunday that could pave the way for it attempt to annex land in Guyana, which since 2015 has discovered significant offshore oil and gas reserves. The United States and Brazil are among the countries watching the Venezuelan result closely.
