Indian Wells, ‘5th major’ of tennis, postponed due to coronavirus

The BNP Paribas Open, set to begin this week at Indian Wells, has been postponed after a case of coronavirus was confirmed in the Coachella Valley. Defending champion Bianca Andreescu of Mississauga, Ont., is injured and wouldn’t have played.
