The freeze on Personal Independence Payments ends in April – what are the new rates?

PERSONAL Independence Payment is a benefit provided by the government which is given to support people with some of the extra costs associated with long term ill-health or disability. PIP, along with several other benefit payments, has been frozen since 2016. However, the freeze is now coming to an end meaning claimants of this benefit could expect higher payments from April.
