Hair raising: Some women will spend £50,000 in their lifetime doing this

One in 20 women will spend more than £50,000 during their lifetime – colouring their hair. Researchers discovered more than one million women in the UK splash out at least £100 visiting the salon every six-and-a-half weeks for a colour change. And a further one in four spend £18,370 over the average adult lifetime, or the equivalent of £291.60 annually altering the natural colour of their hair.
