A giant air purification system dubbed a ‘smog tower’ was restarted upon orders of the Supreme Court of India after it was shut down by Delhi Pollution Control Committee chair Ashwani Kumar. Kumar was criticized for his actions in light of the hazardous air quality condition currently plaguing the capital.
