Welcome back Carter: Ex-Raptors star honoured at Toronto ceremony

Toronto Raptors guard, with city name and number on his jersey, jumps to make the slam dunk during the NBA all-star game slam dunk contest on Feb. 13, 2000 at the Oakland Coliseum in California.

The Raptors legend was in town, days after reports the Raptors would retire his jersey this season, to reopen a city court he’d helped build 21 years ago. Despite his acrimonious departure in 2004, the future hall of famer drew nothing but cheers Friday.
