Canary Islands hit by new wave of boat arrivals with ’40 dead migrants thrown into sea’

The Canary Islands have once again been hit by a massive wave of illegal migrants trying to get into Europe on tiny boats, with at least 40 men, women and children drowning on the crossing from Africa.
