Pound Euro exchange rate: GBP/EUR left flat as German economy in ‘midst of a recession’

This afternoon, the pound remains muted against the euro, with the pairing currently trading at around €1.121. The single currency was left flat against the pound today on further signs that the bloc’s largest economy is falling into a technical recession.
