Universal Credit claim changes: DWP reveals new safeguards in crackdown on loan scams

UNIVERSAL CREDIT advance loan applicants will now have an appointment with Jobcentre staff first, ahead of receiving the advanced payments, the Department for Work and Pensions has announced, in a Government crackdown on benefit scammers.
