Militias a ‘chilling’ presence at rallies but few signs of violence, so far

Armed groups of private citizens have increasingly been taking on a security function at public events where the possibility of violent protest exists, including at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Va. They say their aim is to uphold the U.S. Constitution.
