Trump wants Charles Kushner, father of son-in-law Jared, as U.S. ambassador to France

The elder Kushner, a real estate developer, was pardoned by Donald Trump in December 2020 after pleading guilty years earlier to tax evasion and making illegal campaign donations. Trump made the announcement in a Truth Social post.
