France’s Macron says leaders shouldn’t ‘abandon their values’ in the face of bad polls

Both French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s popularity may be suffering as they face political challenges from opponents on the right, but that doesn’t mean it’s time for either of them to compromise their values, Macron said.
