Accused in Charlottesville attack allegedly threatened his mother with knife, assaulted her

James Fields, Jr.’s mother Samantha Bloom repeatedly called police for violent incidents in 2010 and 2011. One of those instances involved Fields threatening her with a 30-cm knife, and others were allegedly over Fields’ affinity for video games.
