Tributes pour in for Jacob Winterton, ex-OHL and Guelph Gryphons player who died of cancer at 25

Jacob Winterton, a former player with the Ontario Hockey League and the University of Guelph’s Gryphons, has died of cancer at 25. His family, friends and the hockey community have paid tribute to him, with younger brother Ryan Winterton of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken saying, “I’ll miss your voice, your advice, and the way you made everything feel a little less heavy.”
