Elana Meyers Taylor, the 41-year-old United States bobsledder whose career was jeopardized by concussions, is finally an Olympic champion. She prevailed in women’s monobob with a four-run time of three minutes 57.93 seconds, beating Laura Nolte of Germany by 0.04 seconds on Monday in Italy.
