Victoire lose goalie Desbiens before falling in shootout to Fleet

Susanna Tapani scored a go-ahead goal in the shootout and the Boston Fleet beat the Montreal Victoire 3-2 on Tuesday night in Lowell, Mass. Montreal’s starting goalie Ann-Renee Desbiens left with an undisclosed injury in the second period and did not return.
