Pound euro exchange rate: GBP/EUR dips as France refuses ‘bad trade deal’ with UK

The pound to euro exchange rate shed 0.2 percent this morning, with the pairing currently trading around €1.192. Brexit jitters escalated after France said that it would not sign up to a bad trade deal with the UK simply to meet Downing Street’s strict deadline.
