Fuel prices axed by up to 3p per litre across supermarkets days after RAC chiefs warning

FUEL pump prices are being slashed across the country just days after the RAC released a damning verdict claiming prices were 7p per litre too high. Tesco joined rival retailers Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco in axing prices to compete in a fuel war.
