RIP Jeffery Taylor: Express critic who called himself the real Billy Elliot

DANCE critic Jeffery Taylor, who has died aged 81, once wrote that he was the real Billy Elliot. He was brought up in poverty in the North by a single mother before finding his life transformed by ballet, just like Billy in the award-winning film.
