Home-run king Stanton edges Canada’s Votto for NL MVP

Giancarlo Stanton of the Miami Marlins is the winner of the National League most valuable player award. Canadian slugger Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds finished just two points behind Stanton in the voting.
