Some U.S. states plan ‘risky’ reopenings, but appear to have White House support


U.S. President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr have expressed great concern about the impact of stay-at-home orders on the country’s economy and the personal liberty of Americans. A handful of mostly southern U.S. states will begin loosening economic restrictions this week in the midst of a still virulent pandemic.
