Sky TV is shutting down its smartphone and tablet app for Sky Q, but don’t panic

SKY has announced plans to shut down its Sky Q app, which launched alongside the flagship satellite set-top box and was designed to allow viewers to schedule recordings for individual shows or movies as well as entire seasons of television. It also let you download recordings from the box to take on a commute, or holiday.
