The pound edged up against the euro this afternoon, with the pairing currently trading at around €1.164 thanks to a fresh bout of Brexit optimism. Brexit news remains front and centre today after Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s deal, ratified by the EU last week, failed to pass through parliament on Saturday.
