‘I’m the king of the castle’

THIS morning a man called Mark Baker will receive the keys to Gwrych Castle, a neo-Gothic fortress with a 1,500ft façade, 18 battlemented towers and 120 rooms. The Grade I-listed building on the north Wales coast was the largest structure to be erected in Britain in the 19th century and at its peak boasted an estate of 6,000 acres.
